French and German EUDIW Sandbox Access

We’ve added access to French and German EU Digital Identity Wallet sandbox environments through the eID Easy platform.

This means organisations can now start exploring wallet-based identity journeys for France and Germany through eID Easy’s API environment.

Who is this for?

This update is mainly for relying parties that need to verify identity credentials or user attributes as part of their online services.

That includes organisations working with:

  • digital onboarding
  • KYC and identity verification
  • regulated customer access
  • age or eligibility checks
  • attribute-based verification
  • cross-border identity flows

What can you test?

With the French and German wallet sandbox access, organisations can explore how wallet-based identity flows work in practice.

This includes testing new user journeys where a user shares verified identity information or attributes from a digital wallet, instead of relying only on document upload, manual review, or existing eID methods.

The goal is to help teams understand:

  • how wallet-based identity sharing feels for users
  • what data can be requested
  • how wallet responses are handled
  • how EUDIW flows may fit into existing onboarding or authentication processes

Why it matters

EU Digital Identity Wallets are designed to give users a convenient way to share trusted identity information and verified attributes.

For relying parties, this can support lower-friction onboarding and stronger trust in the information being shared.

Instead of asking a user to upload documents or repeat the same verification steps, a wallet-based flow can allow them to share trusted information directly from their wallet.

That can be useful for proving things like identity, age, residence, eligibility, or other attributes issued by trusted sources.

Want to test it?

If you want to explore the French or German EUDIW wallet flows, write to us or book a call and we’ll walk you through the sandbox access, show how the wallet-based journey works, and help you understand where it could fit into your onboarding, verification, or authentication setup.
