We’re pleased to announce that eID Easy has successfully closed a €1.3 million oversubscribed seed round, led by DeepIE Ventures with participation from Boole Syndicate and other existing and new investors, bringing our total funding to €2.4 million.
The Company has also re-domiciled the business from Estonia to Ireland with the recent establishment of Renmore eMethods Ltd as the Irish holding company.
eID Easy replaces outdated paper processes with seamless digital solutions and ensures that identity-based electronic signatures are trusted, secure, and qualified.
Estonia’s groundbreaking digital ecosystem has set the standard for innovation in e-governance and digital identity worldwide. As other countries play catch-up, eID Easy is well-positioned to grow as a leading offering designed to reduce friction by enabling our customers to generate verifiable electronic identities, electronic signatures, and electronic seals on documents.
Commenting on the raise, CEO Maoiliosa O'Culachain noted that this latest investment reflected recent growth and the increasing maturity in the space.
“It takes time, dedication, and investment to build an aggregator API Platform like eID Easy’s. We save our customers that time and cost many times over by providing a fast go-to-market proposition via a single integration. It is particularly pleasing to have DeepIE Ventures as lead investor and the follow-on investments from our existing investors show their confidence in the Company, along with new investors, like the Boole Syndicate, that believe in the value we are creating and who also participated in the round.”
eID Easy is planning to deploy the funding to grow the team across Europe, while also increasing investment in additional product development and sales.
Joao Rei, Chief Business Development Officer and Co-Founder at eID Easy, went on to add:
“At eID Easy, we believe simplicity doesn’t have to come at the expense of security. Our mission is to make digital transactions easy for businesses worldwide, without compromising compliance or safety. With just one integration, we give businesses access to the best security solutions and a global network of Qualified Trusted Service Providers.”
DeepIE first invested in August 2023, and the Managing Partner, Bruce Clibborn, has been on the board since then. Bruce Clibborn, Managing Partner at DeepIE Ventures, commented:
“Leading this €1.3 million seed round reflects our conviction in eID Easy’s team and their vision for an eID-enabled future. This capital will enable the company to turn pilot traction into commercial scale through expanded integrations, enterprise partnerships, and strengthened go-to-market execution.”
