This autumn our team will be on the move across Europe and the U.S., meeting partners, sharing insights, and joining the conversations that shape the future of digital identity and trust services. Here’s a look at the key events where you can catch us, and what we’ll be talking about.
Sept 24–25 – Nordic Fintech Week | Copenhagen, Denmark
Joao Rei (Co-founder & CBDO) and Maoiliosa O'Culachain (CEO) will be at Nordic Fintech Week 2025, one of Northern Europe’s biggest gatherings for financial innovation. The two-day program brings together startups, investors, and regulators to explore everything from sustainable finance to the latest digital-identity solutions.
Sept 24 – 11th Trust Services & eID Forum | Split, Croatia
That same day, Margus Pala (Co-founder & CPO) and Karli Palts (Co-founder & COO) travel to Split for ENISA’s 11th Trust Services and eID Forum. It’s the key European meeting for regulators and trust service providers, focused on the evolution of eIDAS and the technical and policy challenges of building a secure, cross-border digital identity infrastructure.
Sept 25 – Ascertia Annual Conference | London, UK – Joao Rei Speaking
The next day, Joao takes the stage at Ascertia’s Annual Conference with his talk, “The Evolution of Trust Services: From Stamps to Sovereign-Scale Digital Trust.”
He’ll explain how Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) became the invisible backbone of modern digital trust, the role of eIDAS in bringing legal certainty across Europe, and how the user experience has transformed from smart cards and tokens to seamless cloud-based signing.
Most importantly, he’ll show how eID Easy’s hub model connects diverse trust services and national eIDs behind a single API, powering partners like Ascertia’s SigningHub to expand quickly across markets while staying compliant and user-friendly.
Sept 25 – 17th CA-Day | Split, Croatia
Also in Split, Margus and Karli will attend CA-Day, a focused forum for certification authorities. They're expecting detailed discussions on conformity assessment, supervision practices, and the next generation of trust frameworks.
Sept 30 – Latvia Fintech Forum | Riga, Latvia
Joao and Maoiliosa wrap up the month in Riga at the Latvia Fintech Forum, a high-energy event hosted by Latvijas Banka and partners. With sessions on the national fintech strategy, regulatory insights, and a startup pitch competition, it’s the perfect place to connect with the Baltic region’s growing fintech community.
Oct 1 – eID Easy Meetup | Tallinn, Estonia
We start October with an eID Easy Meetup in Tallinn. It’s an informal evening of conversation about the latest developments in electronic identity and eSignatures, from digital wallets to real-world use cases. Whether you’re working in the industry or just curious, join us for free (RSVP required) to meet like-minded people and enjoy drinks and snacks on us.
Oct 13 – eID Easy Meetup | Dublin, Ireland
A few weeks later we’ll host a second eID Easy Meetup in Dublin with the same welcoming atmosphere. We’ll talk about digital wallets, new signature technologies, and how electronic identity is evolving worldwide, all over a relaxed evening with refreshments. Join us for free (RSVP required).
Oct 13–14 – Trusted Economy Forum CommonSign | Warsaw, Poland
Karli heads to Warsaw for CommonSign 2025, where public- and private-sector leaders meet to discuss digital identity, eIDAS 2.0, and trust services. He's looking forward to exchange ideas on secure onboarding and the future of digital credentials in Europe.
Oct 13–15 – Authenticate 2025 | Carlsbad, California & Virtual – Margus Pala Speaking
Margus will speak at Authenticate 2025, the FIDO Alliance’s flagship conference on strong authentication and account security. His session, “How Wallets Are Already in Use While EUDIW Is Still Thinking,” highlights eID Easy’s work on the upcoming EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW).
He’ll share:
- The latest on the EU Digital Identity Regulation and how Member States plan to roll out national wallets by 2026.
- Key technical elements of the EU’s “Common Toolbox,” including secure attribute storage, issuer–verifier roles, and cross-border interoperability.
- Lessons from early wallet deployments in Europe and similar efforts in the Americas, Asia, and Africa.
- How eID Easy is building integrations that let businesses adopt wallet-based identity and signing without added complexity, keeping users in control while meeting the highest assurance levels.
Oct 14–15 – SaaStock Europe | Dublin, Ireland
Joao and Maoiliosa will also be in Dublin for SaaStock Europe, a major gathering for SaaS founders and investors. Expect practical sessions on scaling software businesses and plenty of opportunities to connect with the broader tech community.
Oct 21–23 – Internet Identity Workshop (IIW XXXI) | Mountain View, California
Mats-Joonas Kulla (Co-founder & CTO) heads to Silicon Valley for the Internet Identity Workshop (IIW XXXI), the legendary unconference where the digital-identity community collaborates on standards and real-world solutions. It’s an open forum for anyone driving the next generation of privacy-respecting, interoperable identity systems.
