We are delighted to announce that eID Easy is entering into a partnership with Sweden-based electronic signature and ID provider Scrive.

Partnership Goals

The main objective of this partnership is to:

Advance access to electronic ID schemes across Europe, starting with a focus on the Baltic region.

As a result of this collaboration:

  • Scrive customers will gain access to a broader range of identity-based signature services.
  • These services are:
    • Legally binding
    • Valid across more countries
  • Initial focus countries:
    • Estonia
    • Latvia
    • Lithuania
  • More regions will be included in the near future.

eID Easy API Coverage

eID Easy’s API gives access to qualified e-signature and eID methods that are fully compliant with the EU’s eIDAS regulation.

Baltics: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania
Central & Southern Europe: Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland

Statements from Leadership

Margus Pala, CEO of eID Easy:

“We are delighted to start working with Scrive to help expand the coverage of identity-based signatures in more European countries.
As more businesses need to adopt legally valid signatures, eID Easy's mission is to increase the speed and degree of adoption of qualified and advanced signature methods all over Europe.
Together with Scrive, we are well-positioned to work towards that goal.”

Martin Röver-Parkes, Chief Product Officer at Scrive:

“As businesses continuously become more global, there is an increasing demand for cross-border compatibility of electronic signatures.
The need to sign documents shouldn’t make the building of relationships harder.
A common example would be if decision-makers from Finland, Sweden, and Estonia all need to sign a business agreement.
Collaborating with eID Easy ensures that such signatures are legally binding, valid, and seamless—helping simplify cross-border business and collaboration.”
