What is a One-Shot Signature?
One Shot Signature is a single-use digital signing method designed for situations where a signer needs to sign just one document (or a small set) on a one-time basis.
Unlike long-term certificates that remain valid for repeated use, a one shot signature issues a unique signing certificate just before the signing event.
After the document is signed, the private key and certificate are immediately discarded and cannot be reused. This approach is ideal when the signer doesn’t already have a permanent digital certificate or identity app.
It provides a secure, standards-compliant signature, qualified, advanced, or simple, without requiring ongoing enrollment or long-term credentials.

- Provider Selection – The enterprise integrates with a supported provider such as Adacom, Intesi, Infocert, or others.
- Identity Verification – The end user verifies their identity, typically through a quick process like an automated check or a video call.
- Certificate Issuance – A short-lived signing certificate is issued specifically for this transaction.
- Document Signing – The user signs the document using the one-time certificate.
- Automatic Expiry – The certificate and private key expire immediately after signing, ensuring security and non-reusability.
No Ongoing Accounts or Apps
Signers don’t need to create an account, remember passwords, or install applications. Everything happens in a single session.
