eIDAS Digital Signature Profiles Overview

The eIDAS standard supports multiple digital signature profiles. These profiles define how much evidence is embedded into the signature’s metadata to support future validation of the signature. The profiles differ in how securely they prove the authenticity, time, and validity of a signature.
