Compliance
Diia.Signature complies with the European Union's eIDAS (Electronic Identification, Authentication, and Trust Services) regulation, making it legally recognized in the EU as an Advanced Electronic Signature (AdES). This compliance ensures that documents signed using Diia.Signature are valid and enforceable across EU member states.
In Ukraine, Diia.Signature is equivalent to a handwritten signature and holds full legal recognition. However, it does not carry the same legal presumption as a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) under EU regulations.
Additionally, as of January 1, 2023, qualified electronic signatures and seals created in the European Union (EU QES) are recognized as fully meeting the requirements of Ukrainian legislation and are equivalent to their Ukrainian counterparts.
