Freja eID offers a user-centric approach, providing full transparency and control over personal data shared during each interaction. The application supports biometric authentication and is available for download on major app stores.
Compliance
Freja eID is designed in accordance with the European Union's eIDAS Regulation and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for handling personal data.
While the Swedish government has not yet submitted Freja eID for official eIDAS notification, the application is prepared for eIDAS and meets national requirements for electronic identification at trust level 3.
Freja eID supports the creation of legally binding electronic signatures and provides high-assurance authentication methods.
