eParaksts Mobile is a national electronic identity and signature solution provided by Latvijas Valsts Radio un televīzijas centrs (LVRTC), a government-owned institution in Latvia.
It allows Latvian citizens and residents to securely authenticate and sign documents electronically via their mobile devices. eParaksts Mobile is part of Latvia’s state-supported eID ecosystem and serves as a user-friendly and secure method for accessing public and private sector e-services.
It supports both strong user authentication and the creation of qualified electronic signatures (QES) through a dedicated mobile app linked to the user’s national identity credentials.
Compliance
eParaksts Mobile operates under the EU’s eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 as a Qualified Trust Service, enabling the issuance of qualified electronic signatures recognized across the EU.
It is managed by LVRTC, which is listed in the EU Trusted List as a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP).
The mobile solution is subject to regular compliance audits and meets the high standards required for legal recognition of QES in all EU member states.
