Lithuanian Mobile-ID is compliant with the EU’s eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 and qualifies as a notified electronic identification scheme recognized across the EU.
It supports the creation of Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES), which are legally equivalent to handwritten signatures in all member states.
Mobile-ID is operated in cooperation with Qualified Trust Service Providers (QTSPs) who are listed in the EU Trusted List and subject to rigorous regulatory oversight, ensuring full adherence to European standards for digital identity and trust services.
