While MitID is primarily designed for secure authentication, its integration with the NemLog-in infrastructure enables the issuance of both Advanced Electronic Signatures (AdES) and Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) in full compliance with the eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014.
The system meets Denmark’s national eID standards and strict EU requirements for digital identity and trust services, making MitID a fully compliant and high-assurance solution for legally binding electronic transactions.
