mojeID is a digital identity service operated by CZ.NIC, the Czech domain registry and a trusted national provider of internet infrastructure services.
It enables Czech citizens and residents to authenticate securely online and access a growing number of public and private e-services, including government portals, banks, healthcare systems, and more.
Users register once and can use their mojeID credentials across multiple platforms. As a mobile-friendly and user-controlled identity solution, mojeID supports strong authentication and is designed for convenience, security, and interoperability.
Compliance
mojeID is compliant with the eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 and has been officially notified as a recognized electronic identification scheme under the eIDAS framework.
It supports Advanced Electronic Signatures (AdES), but when integrated with a Qualified Trust Service Provider (QTSP), it can facilitate the issuance of Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES).
mojeID is managed in accordance with strict security and data protection standards, and its status in the EU Trusted List ensures legal validity across EU member states for identity verification and trust-based digital transactions.
