MSC Trustgate is a leading Certification Authority (CA) and Trust Service Provider (TSP) based in Malaysia, offering a broad range of digital trust solutions for individuals, enterprises, and government agencies.

Established in 1999, it plays a key role in securing Malaysia’s digital ecosystem by providing services such as digital certificates, SSL/TLS for secure websites, secure email, and electronic signature solutions.

MSC Trustgate also powers MyTrustID and manages identity-based services that support secure digital transactions and authentication throughout the region. Its offerings include both server-based and client-based signing solutions suitable for high-trust workflows.

Compliance

MSC Trustgate operates under Malaysia’s Digital Signature Act 1997 and is a licensed Certification Authority under the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

While Malaysia is not part of the EU and therefore outside the scope of the eIDAS Regulation, MSC Trustgate’s services follow internationally recognized standards for certificate issuance, cryptographic security, and digital identity assurance.

It provides both Advanced Electronic Signatures (AdES) and Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) under local frameworks, ensuring legal admissibility and trust in digital transactions.
